Medical Disclaimer
Last updated: October 8, 2026
The content of this website, from articles and research reviews to news, Q&A and videos, is prepared to inform patients and their families about cancer and its treatment. It does not replace a visit, diagnosis or treatment decision by your own doctor, and you should consult your doctor before making any decision about treatment.
How this content is prepared
Articles and research reviews are prepared by the editorial team under the supervision of Dr. Farshid Arbabi Kalati, a radiation oncologist. Answers to questions are written by Dr. Arbabi himself or recorded in his own voice. His education, academic background and professional memberships are listed on the About Me page.
What is not possible without an in-person visit
Dr. Arbabi’s services are cancer treatment after diagnosis. Diagnosing a disease and deciding on treatment require an examination and a full review of medical records, so the following are not done through the website, the Q&A section, phone or messaging apps:
- Saying whether a person has cancer or not
- Reading and interpreting imaging and pathology reports
- Setting a treatment plan, determining doses and writing prescriptions
- Predicting the course of a specific person’s disease
- Handling emergencies
Free Q&A
Answers in this section are based on the brief information the person asking has written and are given without an examination or a review of medical records. Their purpose is to clarify the path: where the patient is on the road and what the next step is. These answers are not a diagnosis, a definitive medical opinion or a prescription, and an answer that is right for one person may not be right for someone else with the same disease.
The doctor–patient relationship
Reading the site, sending a question or message, or booking an appointment does not by itself create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins with an in-person visit and a review of your records.
Medications and ongoing treatment
Do not start, stop or change the dose of any medication based on this site’s content. Do not change your chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy or radiotherapy schedule without consulting your treating doctor. Keeping to the schedule is part of what makes treatment work.
News and research reviews
News and research reviews report new findings from cancer research in plain language. The result of a single study does not always mean standard treatment and may not yet have been confirmed. Whether a drug or method is available in Iran also depends on approvals and on what treatment centers can offer. Whether a new method suits you becomes clear at your visit.
Patient stories and “A Tree in Your Name”
The stories of recovered patients are their own personal experiences. Treatment outcomes depend on the type and stage of the disease, the features of the tumor and each person’s circumstances, and these stories are no guarantee of the same outcome. The trees planted in the “A Tree in Your Name” project symbolize the start of the treatment journey and make no promise about its outcome.
Emergencies
This website, the Q&A section, the contact form and the clinic’s messaging apps are not suitable for urgent situations. If you have severe or sudden symptoms, do not wait for a reply: call emergency services (115 in Iran) or go to the nearest medical center.
How current the content is
Medical knowledge, especially in cancer treatment, changes constantly. The site’s content is prepared and reviewed carefully, but parts of it may lag behind the latest scientific evidence. Keep the publication date of each item in mind.
Social media and external links
The same rules apply to Dr. Arbabi’s videos and posts on YouTube, Instagram and Telegram. The site sometimes links to other sources and websites; those sites are responsible for their own content.
Reporting an error
If you notice an error or inaccuracy in any item, let us know through the contact page so it can be reviewed and corrected.
